Just Thinking

Step up

Winners understand the difference between walking and stepping.

When you can’t face the music. Walk. When you can’t handle the pressure. Walk. When they tell you it’s not for you. Walk. When they doubt you. Walk. When they mock you. Walk. When the walls are closing down on you and the pressure builds. Walk. It’s “them” “they” made you walk.

The weak woman’s mantra.

When you are confused about who is for you or against you, when you are feeling pressure and everything looks like a problem, when the whispers behind your back affect your ears, when you start stumbling and making mistakes because your focus is shook
—> Step.

Recognize it’s you having difficulty with failure (even when you know it will make you stronger) It’s you trying to accomplish goals against someone else’s deadlines. It’s you dealing with the uncertain future. You’re in your own way.

Move away for a few hours, set down your pressure,  remind yourself who you are, take a deep breath, block out the noise then step back in…and work.

Winners don’t walk; we step by step conquer and accomplish. (a reminder to self).

Trouble don’t last always.

About The "SoKey" Experience

Each morning I wake I pour myself into a goblet, slowly inhaling the scent of my own faults, swirling them around the glass, allowing them to breath, then I sip, allowing my own inconsistencies to soak my tongue before swallowing. If I am tipsy from my own frailties - I'm less likely to become drunk on yours. -SoKey (introspection)
