Set Alarm for Me A.M.

I am reminded.

Not by your harsh dissection of me nor your ridiculing judgment of my actions or inactivity;

but by the breath of life skills soaring effortlessly through my lungs.

I am reminded.

I am a song unsung; your chords will not shackle me.

You’ll continue to destroy and search hidden mysteries of me; unable to solve puzzling complexities of my verse.

You will try because you can not help yourself.

You will try because you do not know yourself.

You will try because you do not love

Your

Self

Your tries do not offend me.

And this you find offensive.

I am reminded;

To leave.

(a poetic reminder for those of us dealing with toxic people.)

Poison only kills if you consume it.

About The "SoKey" Experience

Each morning I wake I pour myself into a goblet, slowly inhaling the scent of my own faults, swirling them around the glass, allowing them to breath, then I sip, allowing my own inconsistencies to soak my tongue before swallowing. If I am tipsy from my own frailties - I'm less likely to become drunk on yours. -SoKey (introspection)
